The Commencement Exercises and Investiture Ceremony is a long-standing tradition at Murray State University and represent a time of dignity and decorum. The duration of the ceremony is approximately two hours and will take place in the CFSB Center. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with Murray State graduates, their families, friends, and loved ones.

Dill named 2015 Distinguished Alumni

Growing up in the small town of Murray, Kentucky, David Dill knew he wanted to go to MSU. His father coached basketball for the Racers and his parents still reside in Murray.

MSU Adminstrator Passed Away
Long-time Murray State Administrator Jim Carter passed away over the weekend after a battle with cancer. Carter most recently served as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Funeral Arrangements will be held on Wednesday, February 17 at Lovett Auditorium. Visitation is Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lakey Wins Teaching Award
MSU alumni Sam Lakey, won $500 Tools for Teachers award. Lakey co-collaborated to establish and develop boys' running program, B.R.O.S (Boys Running Onward to Success) at Point Elementary School in St. Louis, MO.

Recently named as a 2015 MSU Distinguished Alumni, COL Lucretia McClenney has made a positive and major impact in the lives of nurses, veterans and students worldwide.
