For all of those creative Racer fans out there, the Murray State University Alumni Association is now taking submissions for the 2010 Homecoming t-shirt design contest.

In celebration of fifty-five years of African Americans being on campus at Murray State University, African American alumnae, students, faculty and staff are coming together to commemorate their alma mater and rich history at the African American Alumni Reunion during Homecoming 2010.

Jesse Grier leaves major estate gift to Murray State University
Jesse Grier’s love for the people of Marshall County and the high value he placed on education led him to leave a major estate gift to help students at Murray State University obtain a college education.

Dr. Hal Houston Remembered For Contributions To MSU Athletics
Murray State Athletics lost a dear friend and valued colleague when MSU Team Doctor, Dr. Hal Houston, died at the age of 72 at his home in Murray, Ky., Thursday, July 15. Apart from his outstanding career as a physician, Houston served Racer Athletics and was one of the pioneers that shaped sports medicine at MSU for nearly four decades.

The Richardson Family Fund for Excellence in Accounting created
The Richardson Family Fund for Excellence in Accounting was established by Sina and the late Bethel Richardson in September of 2008 and is continuing to assist Murray State students in their pursuit of obtaining a degree in Accounting.
