Student Alumni Association

A student volunteer group established in 2012, SAA works on behalf of the MSU Alumni Association to enhance the student experience at Murray State University.  It is the newest student organization on campus and a growing organization on Murray State's
campus!

The purpose of SAA is to stimulate student interest in our university and encourage students to be actively involved with MSU before and after graduation.  SAA members will be provided with opportunities to interact with other students and alumni which will enhance your student experience and help strengthen your lifelong loyalty to MSU.

Becoming a member of the Student Alumni Association is a great way to meet new people, get free stuff, make connections with alumni and community members, get involved, and get exclusive invitations to SAA member-only events.  Do a lot or do a little...the Student Alumni Association is for everyone.

  Student Alumni Association: Board

The Student Alumni Board (SAB) is the governing body of SAA and is chaired by the SAB President. The President is selected each year through an interview process and helps select the remainder of the board members. The board is made up of the president, six vice presidents, and 13 committee chairs and each SAB member holds a position. There will be two open houses at the Easley Alumni Center in November and January to learn more about being on the board. To be eligible to apply to the SAB you must be an active member of SAA and attend one open house before elections in February.

Meet the current board.
