Pella Interview Rooms Completed At MSU
Murray State University’s career services office recently unveiled their new Pella interview rooms. The construction of the rooms and installation of virtual interviewing software was funded through a $30,000 grant from The Pella Corporation. The second installment of the grant was presented Monday. MSU career services assists Murray’s students in career choices, the development of interviewing skills and employment and internship opportunities.
The rooms will be used by employers to interview MSU students for prospective jobs. With stylish furnishings and state-of-the-art technology, these rooms will give the student and employer an enjoyable interviewing experience.
Ross Meloan, director of career services, says, “Receiving this grant continues to demonstrate how supportive Pella is of the university and, most importantly, the students at Murray State. It could not have come at a better time. The hiring of Murray State grads is at a fever pitch that doesn’t show any signs of letting up in the future.”
Since locating a Pella manufacturing facility in Murray a few years ago, the corporation has been supportive of the university in a number of ways. “Pella has been a tremendous partner to Murray and Murray State University since day one,” said Bob Jackson, director of gift planning at MSU, “We are very grateful to the company, management and the employees of this great company for their continued assistance.”
