<< BackGorman Receives Summer Graduate Scholarship
Maggie Gorman, a Louisville, Ky., native and Murray State University college of education graduate student, was selected to receive a Kentucky Counseling Association summer scholarship. The scholarship will provide financial aid for tuition and textbooks for a summer course.
Gorman graduated from Murray State in May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and youth and nonprofit leadership. She was named Outstanding Senior Woman of her graduating class. She returned to Murray to pursue a master’s degree in school counseling.
She is currently employed as a graduate assistant for Murray State’s Student Disability Services.
The Kentucky Counseling Association is an organization of counseling professionals who work in educational, health care, residential, private practice, community agency, government, business and industry settings. KCA is a state branch of the American Counseling Association.
