Local Alpha Tau Omega Chapter Alumni Endow New Scholarship
Three area Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) Fraternity alumni members have established a new scholarship initiative at Murray State University. Led by former Murray State University Board of Regent’s Chair Alan Stout, each made a $10,000 gift to the Murray State University Foundation that will create scholarships for current and future ATO Fraternity members.
Local businessmen Dwain Taylor and Robbie Rudolph joined Stout, a Marion, Ky. attorney, in providing the initial $30,000 funding to establish the initiative. The alumni, all members of the Murray State ATO chapter, have set a goal of raising $100,000 to endow the scholarship long-term.
“Being an ATO at Murray State has meant so much to the three of us,” Taylor said, speaking on behalf of Stout and Rudolph. “Shortly we will be personally contacting many of the Alumni Brothers to request support for this. The scholarship will help provide an opportunity for future Brothers to experience what it means to be an ATO at Murray State University.”
