95-96 Football Reunion

After posting its first ever 11-0 season in 1995, the MSU football team did the unimaginable and won two back-to-back championships. The Racers had an encore of two monumental seasons of achievement, hard work and perseverance. 

1965 Golden Anniversary

Homecoming 2015

Racers across the nation sprint to MSU’s campus for a weekend full of fun activities suited for all ages. The festivities begin Thursday, Oct. 8 and conclude Saturday, Oct. 10. Alumni and students can expect timeless homecoming favorites, all masked with a superhero-themed twist. 
The weekend kicks off with A Taste of the Arts, an alumni dinner and auction dedicated to the arts of MSU, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 in the CFSB Center’s Lower Lobby A and the Murray Room. 

MSU alumnus Jim Carter honored with memorial dedication

During the hustle and bustle of homecoming festivities, Racers will have a chance to celebrate the life of one of its dearest members, the late Jim Carter. Carter, the former vice president of institutional advancement and executive director of the Murray State University Alumni Association, will be honored with a dedication service at Oct. 9 at 3:30 p.m. The alumni brick plaza on the north lawn of the Sid Easley Alumni Center will be unveiled as the Carter Alumni Plaza. 

USAF Band of Mid-America concert

Town and Gown in partnership with the Murray State University Department of Music presents the USAF Band of Mid-America concert in Lovett Auditorium.  Join us on Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. for this free concert by one of America’s premiere military bands stationed at Scott AFB near Belleville, IL.

Mark Twain: A Reminiscence Performance

On Samuel Clemens' 180th birthday Robert Valentine reprises his portrayal of the iconic American author and humorist Mark Twain. Proceeds benefit the MSU Department of Theatre and Murray's Playhouse in the Park. Sponsored by MSU's Town & Gown Partnership
